Biography

Catherine is the creative force behind the brand and design vision of Ateliers Jacob. She grew up in a family of kitchen artisans, immersed from a young age in a world of craftsmanship, aesthetics, and a passion for the art of living. It was alongside her father that she learned her craft—through both technique and philosophy.

Now Creative Director of the Ateliers Jacob Group, she draws on a broad range of experience—designer, strategist, creative partner—to illuminate the soul of the company. She leads the design of our Collection and showrooms with sensitivity and intention, creating spaces that reflect the essence of the brand: timeless, warm, and rooted in human connection.

Her personal style is distinguished by the use of natural, enduring materials and finishes, along with a carefully calibrated balance between comfort and boldness. To her, true design doesn’t impose—it reveals. In guiding the creative vision of the brand across both Canada and the United States, she brings a sense of empathy and thoughtful beauty to every project.

In her personal life, Catherine is deeply devoted to family and fueled by a love of travel, hospitality, and art. Creating, sketching, and hosting are the quiet rituals that nourish her creative soul.
