The Indianapolis: Alex Tagliani’s Kitchen

“What was important to us was the arrangement of all the kitchen elements, the practical side … up to the garbage’s position!”, added the racing driver. Considering that it was essential for the couple to be able to cook without being separated from their guests, our kitchen designers fulfilled this requirement with a spacious central island that doubles as a prep area and a dining space. For the cabinets, genuine walnut wood was used, providing a luxurious and warm feel to the space. The designers opted for a white glossy polymer for the lower cabinets, which matched the design aesthetic of the rest of the house. To ensure that the kitchen is hygienic and easy to clean, Dekton, a highly compact material with nearly no porosity, was used for the counters. The designers worked closely with Alex and Bronte, questioning them about their daily use of the kitchen to ensure every detail was catered for, from the opening pressure device for the cabinets to the placement of electrical outlets. The result is a dream kitchen that is both practical and stylish.

“Every time we wanted to place an item in the original plan, the designers questioned us to find out about our actual daily use. And the final outcome is truly impeccable!” says Alex.
