Gabrielle Emond

After starting her career at Ateliers Jacob in 2017, Gabrielle Emond is back on the team, this time as a Kitchen Designer.

A 2017 interior design graduate of Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Gabrielle began her career that same year as a technical assistant at Ateliers Jacob, working on the Laval-sur-le-Lac project. She then worked as a designer in residential construction, developing complete house plans, both interior and exterior. She went on to spend two years running her own practice, handling full renovations, decorating projects and site management.

Creative at heart, she needs to create every day and places great importance on the human experience behind every project. At Ateliers Jacob, she designs spaces suited to her clients’ lifestyles and tastes, with efficient, ergonomic layout solutions.

She favours transitional, mid-century and contemporary styles, and has a soft spot for wood, especially walnut, and natural materials. Organized and detail-oriented, she builds her approach on listening and trust. For her, design is about more than creating a Pinterest-worthy space: it’s about creating spaces that truly reflect the people who live in them.
