Sebastien Goehry

With nearly 20 years of experience in cabinetmaking materials and wood veneer distribution, Sébastien Goehry has been General Manager and Co-Owner of Ateliers Jacob since March 2025.

After studying at the University of Ottawa and the Université de Montréal, Sébastien began his career in 2007 as Sales Director at Commonwealth Plywood, in the veneer division. In 2009, he joined La Compagnie Robert Bury, where he became General Manager of Robert Bury and Produits Forestiers CJP, and then Vice-President from 2020 to 2025.

At Ateliers Jacob, he wanted to get closer to the finished product and the client. His ambition is to grow this second-generation family business while preserving what sets it apart: Quebec craftsmanship and custom service. He works hand in hand with the management team, designers, project managers and manufacturing plants to ensure a clear, smooth process, rigorous follow-up and exceptional projects. Together with his business partner and the leadership team, he also oversees business development, supplier relations and the strategic vision for the showroom.

Wood is at the heart of his career. He favours white oak for its brightness and walnut for its warmth. What drives him is seeing a project go from idea to reality, and building a strong team that takes pride in its work.
